Azure Horizons has Acquired Abacus Technical Solutions
Oak Park, IL— Azure Horizons Inc. announced today the acquisition of Abacus Technical Solutions in River Forest, IL, enabling the two IT companies to better serve their customers and community.

Many customers have already benefited from the unofficial partnership as they have been working with each other’s clients in a limited capacity for months now. “It’s just great to be able to discuss a customer’s situation with another technology person and come up with the best possible solution/s for them.” said Demeur. “When you have a couple people brainstorming solutions as opposed to just one, you will more often get a better thought out solution.”

This economy needs more jobs and we hope to bring that with this acquisition. We will need techs, admins, etc. as we grow.”
Azure Horizons also does a lot of work with not-for-profits in the area and has been recycling donated computers for them. “We take them in, mix and match parts and see if we can get them back in to service. It isn’t a recommended practice for a not for-profit business but it’s a great way to keep old computers out of landfills and help not-for profits leverage technology to operate more efficiently.” said Demeur.
