Chestnut Park Grand Opening

| October 30, 2014

On Saturday, October 25, from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm The Park District of Franklin Park invited residents to a fun filled party to celebrate the Grand Opening of Chestnut Park.  There were three ribbon cutting ceremonies, two cake cuttings and tee shirt give a ways.  Senator Don Harmon was in attendance as well as Mayor Barrett Pedersen of Franklin Park.  Hot dogs, chips, pretzels, lemonade and cake were served to everyone  and the children in attendance were able to play on the new playground equipment.  Everyone enjoyed this fun filled celebration.  Here are a few pictures from that event.
