Unless otherwise noted, registration is required for ALL library programs.

December 1 – Holiday Centerpiece – Brighten your holiday table with a DIY candle centerpiece. Makes a nice hostess gift! Limit 20 people per session. 2:00-3:30pm

December 1 – Study Hall – Need a place to do all of your schoolwork? Is there a project due that you need a place to do it? Come in for Library Study Hall. Spread out in our meeting rooms and put distractions aside! Grades 7-12. 3:00-6:00pm

December 2 – Friendship Quilting Club – Join us for crafting and camaraderie. Whether you are a newcomer or a long-time quilting enthusiast, you’re invited to learn new techniques, talk about fabrics, and share patterns. 10:00am-12:00pm

December 4 – Morning Movers – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Join us Friday mornings. Limit 15. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

December 4 – Friends of the Library Book Sale – Looking for a great deal on new or gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and videos? Take advantage of the special deal of $3 for a bag of books. Make sure to stop in and stock up just in time for the holidays! 6:00-8:00pm

December 8 – Library Board Meeting – Board meetings are open to the public. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month. 7:30-8:30pm

December 10 – Parker’s Storytime – Join us as we explore the alphabet and follow the five basic principles of Every Child Ready To Read with books, songs, and rhymes in this fun storytime. Limit 20. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. 4:00-5:00pm

December 10 – Full STEAM Ahead – Join us as we travel full STEAM ahead into science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Grades 1-3. 4:00-5:00pm

December 11 – Friday Flicks – Join us on Fridays each month to watch a newly released movie! This month’s movie is Ricki and the Flash (PG-13). Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-3:45pm

December 12 – Holiday Open House – Join us for our annual holiday extravaganza! We’ll have an afternoon full of fun and activities for all ages. Enjoy some live holiday music and treats and shop at the Friends of the Library’s Book Sale. 1:00-4:00pm

December 21 – Winter Break Movie Marathon – Join us during the first week of Winter Break as we screen the original Star Wars trilogy. Today’s movie is Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (PG). Snacks will also be provided.  2:00-4:00pm

December 21 – Coloring Party for Adults – Coloring isn’t just for kids anymore! Join us for a stress-relieving evening of coloring! Coloring pages and colored pencils will be provided for use, but feel free to bring in your own art supplies, too.  6:00-8:00pm

December 22 – Winter Break Movie Marathon – Join us during the first week of Winter Break as we screen the original Star Wars trilogy. Today’s movie is Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (PG). Snacks will also be provided.  2:00-4:00pm

December 22 – Storytime with Santa – Santa Claus is coming to the Library! Join us for stories, songs, and photo opportunities with Santa. Don’t forget your camera! Limit 60. All ages. 6:00-7:00pm

December 23 – Arts & Snacks Holiday Edition – Drop in for some art! Create a masterpiece at your library. We will have all sorts of art supplies available and a bunch of warm winter snacks to keep you going. Grades 7-12. 12:00-2:00 pm

December 23 – Winter Break Movie Marathon – Join us during the first week of Winter Break as we screen the original Star Wars trilogy. Today’s movie is Star Wars: Episode IV – The Return of the Jedi (PG). Snacks will also be provided. @ 2:00-4:00pm

December 28 – Kids Holiday Bingo – Come play bingo at the Library and win prizes! Limit 60. Grades K & up. 2:00-3:00pm

December 30 – Noon Year – 3…2…1…Happy Noon Year!  Come celebrate the New Year at noon with a storytime followed by a countdown, complete with party favors and noise makers! Limit 60. All Ages. 11:00am-12:00pm
