February 4 – Friendship Quilting Club – Join us for crafting and camaraderie. Whether you are a newcomer or a long-time quilting enthusiast, you’re invited to learn new techniques, talk about fabrics and share patterns. 10:00am-12:00pm

February 4 – Craft Café – Come to the Library and make some sweet gifts for your sweetie. Ages 9–12-years-old. Limit 20. 6:00-7:00pm

February 9 – Writing Workshop – Do you love to read and write?  Come and explore your inner creative voice!  Ages 6-years-old and up. 6:00-7:00pm

February 11 – Lego Club – We supply the Legos, you bring the imagination and creativity! All Ages (with adult supervision). Limit 60. 6:00-7:30pm

February 13 – Friday Flicks – Join us each month to watch a newly released movie. This month’s movie is Gone Girl (Rated R), starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tyler Perry. Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-4:30pm

February 13 – Friday Family Flicks – Join us each month to watch a family-friendly movie. This month’s movie is The Boxtrolls (Rated PG). Refreshments will also be available. 6:00-7:45pm

February 14 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00am

February 14 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

February 17 – Nonfiction Book Club – We will be discussing The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. Pick up your copy of the book at the Circulation Desk starting a month before the discussion date. 7:00-8:00pm

February 18 – Warm Winter Desserts – Cold winter weather got you down? Chef Michael Maddox returns just in time to warm you up with some delicious desserts! There is a $3 tasting fee due at time of registration. All registration must be done in person. Limit 30 attendees. 6:00-7:30pm

February 20 – Morning Movers – Let’s read, sing, and play in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0-3-years-old with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

February 25 – Parker’s Storytime  – Join us as we explore the alphabet and follow the five basic principles of “Every Child Ready To Read” during this fun storytime. Ages 3-5-years-old with caregiver. 2:00-3:00pm

February 26 – Dewey Discovery – Build your own boat! Join us as we explore the nonfiction section of the Library! Ages 6-8-years-old. 6:00-7:00pm

February 27 – Morning Movers – Let’s read, sing, and play in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0-3-years-old with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

February 27 – Anime Club – Watch your favorite anime and draw your own manga while feasting on Japanese snacks! Ages 12-17-years-old. 6:00-7:30pm
