Have Book Will Travel

| May 18, 2013

This year’s Summer Reading Program at the Franklin Park Library begins on June 1 with a kick-off party featuring fun, food and the Barefoot Hawaiian Dancers.    The program will continue through July 27.   Sign-up at the Information Desk and you’ll receive your reading packet. Everyone who participates will be eligible to win a number of weekly prizes as well as grand prizes , which include a Kindle Fire HD or a Google Nexus tablet.

Once again, you’ll have to read for the chance to win. Each participant who reads 10 books will receive an entry for one tablet of their choice.  In addition to the Reading Program, look for some travel-themed programs for all ages  this summer. The Summer Reading Program will conclude with a party on Saturday, August 3 at 1pm, where winners of all the grand prizes will be announced. We look forward to traveling with you this summer!

The grant will be used to help fund this year’s Teen Summer Reading Program! Many thanks to Dollar General and YALSA for their support!
