ILLINOIS TOLLWAY H.E.L.P. TRUCKS GET NEW SPONSOR
IN TIME FOR THE BUSY LABOR DAY TRAVEL WEEKEND

What: Kick off of the revamped Highway Emergency Lane Patrol (H.E.L.P.) Program and unveiling of the motorist assistance vehicles’ new look courtesy of sponsor, State Farm
When: 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 29
Where: Illinois Tollway Headquarters, 2700 Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove
Why: The innovative public-private partnership provides financial support for the successful H.E.L.P. program furthering the Tollway’s efforts to reduce delay and improve safety for the motoring public while highlighting State Farm’s commitment to helping people recover from the unexpected.
The H.E.L.P. program operates 11 patrols throughout the Tollway system, providing an array of services that includes: changing flat tires, charging dead batteries, adding coolant and fuel, assisting with incidents and arranging for tows. In 2012, the Tollway’s H.E.L.P. trucks patrolled more than 1.3 million miles and helped more than 32,000 customers.
