Knight of Columbus Deliver Thanksgiving Baskets

Boxes containing all the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner were assembled and delivered by the Knights of Columbus in Northlake. Items included in the boxes delivered were a turkey, fresh pumpkin pie, and box mix items for side dishes. This annual event took place on Saturday November 17th. The Knights received a list of those in need from the Northlake Police Department and the American Legion Post 888 in Northlake. The Knights of Columbus Council of Cardinal Cody 8070 went shopping, loaded and delivered 48 Thanksgiving baskets to needy families in the Northlake and Leyden area. Members stated that recipients were very grateful and happy to receive the donation.
