March 1 – Library Quilt & Sew Club – Join us for casual discussion about quilting & sewing, and showing completed projects. We embrace all quilting and sewing skills. 10:00am-12:00pm

March 1 – Coding Club – Are you good at solving puzzles? Join us to experiment with coding and uncover all the wonderful things you can do with computers! Limit 10. Grades 3-5. 4:00-5:00pm

March 3 – Morning Movers Storytime – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Limit 20. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 4 – Arts & Snacks – Drop in for some art! Create a masterpiece at your library. We will have all sorts of art supplies available and a bunch of snacks to keep you going. This program is for teens & adults. 1:00-4:00pm

March 6 – Lego Club – Whether you are a great builder or a first timer, this is the place for you. We provide the Legos, you provide the imagination. Limit 30. All Ages. 5:00-6:30pm

March 7 – Vegetarian Cooking – Broaden your palette of cooking methods and techniques in this evening immersion into vegetarian cooking. Join Chef Maddox to explore flavors and ingredients which will fill your recipe box as well as put smiles on your friends and family. The chef will teach you how to create plate after plate of meatless deliciousness. This is an evening not to be missed! Limit 35. Registration required. 6:00-7:30pm

March 9 – Full STEAM Ahead – Join us as we travel full STEAM ahead into science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Limit 30. Grades 1-3. 4:00-5:00pm

March 9 – Parker’s Storytime – Explore the alphabet with books, songs, and rhymes in this fun storytime. Limit 20. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. 4:00-5:00pm

March 10 – Morning Movers Storytime – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Limit 20. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 10 – Friday Flicks – Join us each month to watch a newly released movie! This month’s movie is The Light Between Oceans (PG-13). Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-4:00pm

March 10 – Friday Family Flicks – Join us each month for a family-friendly movie! This month’s movie is Finding Dory (PG). Refreshments will also be available. 6:00-8:00pm

March 11 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00am

March 11 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

March 14 – Morning Storytime – Join us twice a month for a themed storytime filled with fun songs, stories, and a craft! Limit 15. Ages 3-5 years old with caregiver. 10:00-10:45am

March 15 – Kids Graphic Novel Club – We will meet once a month to discuss exciting titles and enjoy some snacks. This month, we’re discussing Red’s Planet by Eddie Pittman. Copies of the books will be available at the Circulation Desk about a month prior to the meeting date. Limit 20. Grades 3-5. 4:00-4:45pm

March 15 – My World Wednesday – Discover new languages, cultures, and traditions with stories, songs and rhymes from around the world. Each month will be a new and interactive storytime. Limit 30. All ages. 4:00-5:00pm

March 17 – Morning Movers Storytime – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Limit 20. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 17 – Tabletop Gaming Club – If you enjoy playing various board games then this is the program for you! Grab some friends and visit your library to play from a selection of classic and new tabletop games. This program is for teens & adults. 6:00-8:00pm

March 18 – Spring Family Craft – Come join us to make a fun and creative spring family craft. Limit 40. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. 2:00-3:00pm

March 21 – Tuesday Classics – Join us on the third Tuesday of each month to watch a classic movie! This month’s film is The Sting (PG). Refreshments will also be available. 10:30am-12:30pm

March 21 – DIY Spring Craft – Come and make a beautiful spring-themed craft with us! Limit 20 per session. Registration is required. 2:00-3:00pm

March 30 – Arting Around – Break is almost over! Get out of the house and make something at the Library. We will provide art supplies like paint, paper, and clay. Dress to get messy and create your very own work of art. All experience levels welcome. Limit 20. Grades 3-6. 4:00-5:30pm

March 31 – Morning Movers Storytime – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Limit 20. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 31 – Anime Club – Come join us at Anime Club! Draw and paint your own manga. Snack on delicious Japanese snacks. Watch your favorite anime. Grades 7-12. 6:00-7:30pm

March 31 – The Scrap Exchange – Stop by the Library on the last day of each month and get a second chance at creativity using our leftover crafts. It’s also a great time to bring in any crafting supplies you are no longer using at home. All ages. 6:00-8:00pm
