March 4 – Friendship Quilting Club – Join us for crafting and camaraderie. Whether you are a newcomer or a long-time quilting enthusiast, you’re invited to learn new techniques, talk about fabrics and share patterns. 10:00am-12:00pm

March 6 – Morning Movers – Let’s read, sing, and play in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0-3 yrs old with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 9 – Writing Workshop – Do you love to read and write?  Explore your inner creative voice with games and activities in this program! Ages 6-12-years old. 6:00-7:00pm

March 9  – Fiction Book Club – We will be discussing At Home in Mitford by Jan Karon. Pick up your copy of the book at the Circulation Desk starting a month before the discussion date. 7:00-8:00pm

March 11 – Parker’s Storytime – Join us as we explore the alphabet and follow the five basic principles of “Every Child Ready To Read” with books, songs, and rhymes in this fun storytime. Ages 3-5-years-old with caregiver. 2:00-3:00pm

March 12 – Dewey Discovery – Create, explore, and discover through interactive activities and crafts! Ages 6-8-years-old. 6:00-7:00pm

March 13 – Morning Movers – Let’s read, sing, and play in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0-3 yrs old with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 13 – Friday Flicks – Join us each month to watch a newly released movie. This month’s movie is the The Theory of Everything (Rated PG-13), starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones. Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-4:00pm

March 13 – Friday Family Flicks – Join us each month to watch a family-friendly movie. This month’s movie is Big Hero 6 (Rated PG). Refreshments will also be available. 6:00-7:30pm

March 14 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Library support the Franklin Park Public Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00am

March 14 – Knit & Crochet Club – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt – Follow the clues in Kids Crossing to find the hidden pot of gold! All Ages welcome! 6:00-7:00pm

March 20 – Lego Club – Bring your imagination and we’ll supply the Legos. All ages are welcome with adult supervision. 6:00-7:30pm

March 25 – Make & Take – Are you a DIYer who wants to build something rather than buy it? Come and create! Ages 9-12-years-old. 6:00-7:00pm

March 26 – Scrapbooking Club – Do you have a bunch of unorganized pictures laying around? Then get organized and join us for our Scrapbooking Club each month. You will learn new techniques and be able to share ideas and materials with other people. Please bring your own photos, unfinished scrapbooks, and any materials you’d like to trade with others. 6:00-8:00pm

March 27 – Toddler Art – Get your toddler ready to read through art. Join us for stories and hands-on activities to nourish your creative toddler. Remember that creativity can be messy so bring a smock. 2-4-years-old with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 27 – Anime Club – Watch your favorite anime and draw your own manga while feasting on Japanese snacks! Ages 12-17-years-old. 6:00-7:30pm

March 31 – Henna Tattooing & T-shirt Scarf Making – Have you ever wanted a henna tattoo? You’re in luck! Join us and choose a design for your very own henna tattoo. While you’re waiting, why not make an easy and fun t-shirt scarf? Limit 20 people. Registration is required. Anyone under 18-years-old must have a permission slip signed by a parent or legal guardian to attend this program. Ages 13-18-years-old. 2:00-3:30pm
