March 6 – Lego Club – Build with us! Take the Lego building challenge, and your creation could be on display in Kids Crossing! All Ages. 6:00-8:00pm

March 7 – Morning Movers Storytime – Let’s sing, play, and read in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0 – 3-years-old w/ adult caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 7 – Tween Scene – If you love Rainbow Loom, make a bracelet with us! Bring your own loom and we’ll provide the bands. Ages 9 – 13-years-old. 6:00-7:00pm

March 8 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

March 10 – Fiction Book Club – We will be discussing the book The Beach House by Jane Green. Pick up your copy at the Circulation Desk starting a month before the discussion date. Registration is required. 7:00-8:00pm

March 12 – Conversation Circle – Join us each week for the chance to practice your English speaking skills in an informal, supportive setting. 7:00-8:00pm

March 12 – Skip the Stress and Learn How to Plan for College – Representatives from College Bound Funding Solutions in Oakbrook Terrace join us to discuss college planning and share techniques that help deal with the anxiety associated with planning and paying for college. 7:00-8:00pm

March 13 – Dewey Discovery – Do you know all the planets in the solar system? Are you a mad scientist? Join us as we explore the nonfiction section of the library! Ages 6 – 8-years-old. 6:00-7:00pm

March 13 – Junior Storytime – Come sing, play, and read in this interactive storytime for children in preschool and kindergarten. Caregivers are highly encouraged to attend this program with their child. Ages 3 – 5-years-old. 6:00-7:00pm

March 14 – Morning Movers Storytime – Let’s sing, play, and read in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0 – 3-years-old w/ adult caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 14 – Friday Flicks – Join us on the second Friday afternoon of each month for a new movie release! This month’s movie is Gravity (PG-13) starring Sandra Bullock. Refreshments will also be served. 1:00-3:00pm

March 14 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library through volunteerism, fundraising activities and sponsorship of programs and activities. New members are always welcome. 6:00-7:30pm

March 15 – DIY Instagram Photo Strips – Happy Teen Tech Week! Meet up in the Square to make your very own photo booth strip out of your Instagram pics. Ages 13 – 17-years-old.  11:00am-12:00pm

March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt – Follow the clues in Kids Crossing to find the hidden pot of gold! All ages. 6:00-7:00pm

March 22 – Zumba®  @ the Library – Certified Zumba® instructor Dana Trampas stops by the Library to lead our free Zumba® classes for people ages 13 and up (under 18 with parental permission). Registration is required. 11:00am-12:00pm

March 24 – Is it Memory Loss or Just Normal Forgetfulness? – Do you always forget where your keys are and worry that your memory loss could be a sign of a more serious health issue? Join Ruth Folkening, a Caregiver Specialist from Aging Care Connections in La Grange, as she discusses the differences between normal forgetfulness and Alzheimer’s Disease. 6:00-7:00pm

March 26 – Conversation Circle – Join us each week for the chance to practice your English speaking skills in an informal, supportive setting. 7:00-8:00pm

March 28 – Morning Movers Storytime – Let’s sing, play, and read in this storytime for babies and toddlers. Ages 0 – 3-years-old w/ adult caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

March 28 – Anime Club – Show off your cosplay! Please note: Anime Club will not meet in April. Ages 13 – 17-years-old. 6:00-8:00pm
