November 3 – Study Hall – Need a place to do your homework or work on a project? Come in for Library Study Hall. Spread out in our meeting rooms and put distractions aside. Grades 7-12. 3:00-6:00pm

November 4 – Friendship Quilting Club – Join us for crafting and camaraderie. Whether you are a newcomer or a long-time quilting enthusiast, you’re invited to learn new techniques, talk about fabrics, and share patterns. 10:00am-12:00pm

November 5 – Lego Club – Build whatever leaps into your imagination! Lego Club offers a time to relax and create. Limit 40. All Ages. 6:00-7:30pm

November 6 – Battle of the Pizzas – Who makes the best pizza in Franklin Park? You decide! Taste delicious pizza from 4 restaurants in Franklin Park and vote for your favorite. All Ages. Limit 50. 6:00-7:30pm

November 7 – Arts & Snacks – Drop in for some art! Create a masterpiece at your library. We will have all sorts of art supplies available and a bunch of snacks to keep you going. Grades 7-12. 1:00-3:00pm

November 9 – Fiction Book Club – We will be discussing The Christmas Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini. Pick up your copy of the book at the Circulation Desk starting a month before the discussion date. 7:00-8:00pm

November 10 – Study Hall – Need a place to do your homework or work on a project? Come in for Library Study Hall. Spread out in our meeting rooms and put distractions aside. Grades 7-12. 3:00-6:00pm

November 11 – Zumba® Kids – Enjoy your day off and come to our Zumba Kids class. All participants must have signed parental/guardian permission. Limit 20. Grades 2-6. 4:00-5:00pm

November 12 – Parker’s Storytime – Join us as we explore the alphabet and follow the five basic principles of Every Child Ready To Read with books, songs, and rhymes in this fun storytime. Limit 20. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. 4:00-5:00pm

November 12 – Full STEAM Ahead – Join us as we travel full STEAM ahead into science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Grades 1-3. 4:00-5:00pm

November 13 – Morning Movers – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Join us Friday mornings. Limit 15. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

November 13 – Friday Flicks – Join us on Fridays each month to watch a newly released movie! This month’s movie is Mr. Holmes (PG). Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-3:45pm

November 13 – Friday Family Flicks – Join us each month us for a family-friendly movie! This month’s movie is Inside Out (PG). Refreshments will also be available. 6:00-7:45pm

November 13 – Cosplay Crafters – Are you interested in costume making? Come on in for Cosplay Crafters! Each meeting we will be making a different prop from an anime/manga/book/or TV show. Check out our website for more information on the prop we are making! Grades 7-12. 6:00-7:30pm

November 14 – Robotics at the Library – Join us for a special Lego robot building activity presented by the Triton College Engineering Technology/Mechatronics Department. Limit 60. For grades K & up. 11:00am-12:00pm

November 14 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

November 16 – Coloring Party for Adults – Coloring isn’t just for kids anymore! Join us for a stress-relieving evening of coloring! Coloring pages and colored pencils will be provided for use, but feel free to bring in your own art supplies, too. 6:00-8:00pm

November 21 – International Games Day – Do you love gaming? Players of all ages can stop by the Library and play a variety of board and card games, computer games, and Wii/WiiU games. Snacks will also be provided. 9:00am-4:00pm

November 23 – Town Hall Meeting with Santa – What is Santa’s favorite cookie? How does he travel around the world so fast? Get the answers to these questions and more in this Q&A session with Santa Claus himself! Limit 60. All ages. 6:00-7:00pm

November 24 – Study Hall – Need a place to do your homework or work on a project? Come in for Library Study Hall. Spread out in our meeting rooms and put distractions aside. Grades 7-12. 3:00-6:00pm

November 25 – Thanksgiving Drop-in Craft – Children and their caregivers can stop in anytime all day to make a fun Thanksgiving craft! Please note: the library closes at 5pm today. 9:00am-4:00pm

November 28 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00am

November 30 – Holiday Perler Beads – Come and learn how to create small ornaments or room decorations for this Holiday season. Limit 20. Grades 4-6. 6:00-7:30pm
