November 1 – Conversation Circle – Come and practice speaking English in a friendly, supportive environment. 1:00-2:00pm
November 2 – Library Quilt & Sew Club – Join us for casual discussion about quilting & sewing, and showing completed projects. We embrace all quilting and sewing skills. 10:00am-12:00pm
November 4 – Battle of the Pizzas – Who makes the best pizza in Franklin Park? You decide! Taste delicious pizza from local restaurants and vote for your favorite. Limit 50. 6:00-7:00pm
November 5 – Cooking with Chef Cherise: Yeast Breads – Chef Cherise will guide you through the twelve steps of yeast bread production and give you tips and tricks to make bread baking your new favorite hobby. Tasty bites and recipes will be shared. Registration is required. Limit 40. 2:00-3:30pm
November 7 – Study Hall – Need a place to do your schoolwork? Is there a project due that you need to work on? Come in for Library Study Hall. Spread out in our meeting room and put distractions aside! Grades 7-12. 3:00-8:00pm
November 8 – Conversation Circle – Come and practice speaking English in a friendly, supportive environment. 1:00-2:00pm
November 10 – Parker’s Storytime – Explore the alphabet with books, songs, and rhymes in this fun storytime. Limit 20. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. 4:00-5:00pm
November 10 – Full STEAM Ahead – Join us as we travel full STEAM ahead into science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Limit 30. Grades 1-3. 4:00-5:00pm
November 11 – Friday Flicks – Join us on the second Friday of each month to watch a newly released movie! This month’s movie is The Legend of Tarzan (PG-13). Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-4:00pm
November 11 – Friday Family Flicks – Join us each month for a family-friendly movie! This month’s movie is Ice Age: Collision Course (PG). Refreshments will also be available. 6:00-7:30pm
November 12 – Conversation Circle – Come and practice speaking English in a friendly, supportive environment. 10:00-11:00am
November 12 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

November 17 – Lego Club – If you are a great builder or a first timer, this is the place for you. We provide the Legos, you provide the imagination. Limit 30. All ages. 4:00-6:00pm
November 18 – Toddler Art – Explore art through paint, sculpture, and more! Dress to get messy. Limit 20. Ages 2-4 years old w/ caregiver. 10:00-11:00am
November 18 – Anime Club – Draw and paint your own manga, snack on delicious Japanese snacks, and watch your favorite anime. Grades 7-12. 6:00-7:30pm
November 19 – International Games Day – Challenge your friends and family with our assortment of board, card, and video games. Snacks will also be available. 11:00am-4:00pm
November 21 – Study Hall – Need a place to do your schoolwork? Is there a project due that you need to work on? Come in for Library Study Hall. Spread out in our meeting room and put distractions aside! Grades 7-12. 3:00-8:00pm
November 21 – Adult Coloring Club – Coloring isn’t just for kids anymore! Join us for a stress-relieving evening of coloring. Coloring pages and colored pencils will be provided for use, but feel free to bring in your own art supplies, too. 6:00-8:00pm
November 22 – Conversation Circle – Come and practice speaking English in a friendly, supportive environment. 1:00-2:00pm
November 22 – Tween Tuesday – Join us for our tween do-it-yourself crafting hour! Hang out with friends and stretch your creative skills by engaging in fun art-based activities. Limit 30. Grades 4-6. 6:00-7:00pm
November 22 – Tabletop Gaming Club – If you enjoy playing various board games then this is the program for you! Grab some friends and visit your library to play from a selection of classic and new tabletop games. This program is for teens & adults. 6:00-8:00pm
November 23 – Thanksgiving Mystery Craft – Children and their caregivers can stop in anytime all day to make a fun craft! Please note: the Library closes at 5pm today. 9:00am-4:00pm
November 26 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00am

November 26 – Arts & Snacks – Drop in for some art! Create a masterpiece at your library. We will have all sorts of art supplies available and a bunch of snacks to keep you going. This program is for teens & adults. 1:00-4:00pm
