November 1 – Now You’re Cooking! – Have fun making yummy recipes, and then sample your culinary creations. Registration is required! Due to the popularity of this program, no walk-ins will be accepted. Grades 2-6. 4:00-5:00 pm
November 1 – NaNoWriMo Teens – November is National Novel Writing Month! Come explore what NaNoWriMo has to offer and get started on your writing journey. Grades 6-12. 6:00-7:00 pm
November 2 – Roblox Meet-Up – Come hang out with fellow Roblox fans! We will have different activities and snacks! Grades K and up. 4:00-5:00 pm
November 3 – Arts & Snacks – Drop in for some art! Create a masterpiece at your library. We will have all sorts of art supplies available and a bunch of snacks to keep you going. This program is for teens and adults. 1:00-4:00 pm
November 6 – STEAM Jr. – All the fun of Full STEAM Ahead for the younger set. There will be fun, hands-on experiments, so be prepared to get messy! Grades PreK-1 with caregiver. 4:00-5:00 pm
November 7 – Library Quilt & Sew Club – Join us for casual discussion about quilting & sewing, and showing completed projects. We embrace all quilting and sewing skills. 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
November 7 – Coding Club – Stop by to experiment with coding and uncover all the wonderful things you can do with computers & robots! Grades 1-6. 4:00-5:00 pm
November 8 – Thursday Page Turners Book Club – Stop into your library and discuss popular non-fiction titles on the second Thursday afternoon of each month. This month we will be reading Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance. Refreshments will be provided. Copies of the book can be picked up at the Circulation Desk a month before the meeting date. 2:00-3:00 pm
November 8 – Full STEAM Ahead – Join us as we travel full STEAM ahead into science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Grades 2-4. 4:00-5:00 pm
November 9 – Morning Movers Storytime – Introduce your little one to early literacy skills through reading, rhymes, songs and play. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00 am
November 9 – Friday Flicks – Join us each month to watch a newly released movie! This month’s movie is Ocean’s Eight (Rated PG-13). Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-4:00 pm
November 9 – International Games Day – Join fellow game enthusiasts to play video games with the Chicago Gaming League in the large meeting room. Other gaming material will be available to play as we celebrate International Games Day! All ages. 6:00-8:00 pm
November 10 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00 pm
November 10 – Henna – The beauty of henna is here at your library. Explore henna and leave with a henna tattoo! Grades 6-12. 2:00-3:00 pm
November 12 – LEGO Club – If you are an experienced builder or a first timer, this is the place for you! During this drop-in program, we provide the LEGO bricks and monthly challenges to spark your imagination. All ages. 4:00-6:00 pm
November 12 – Monday Mysteries Book Club – Come have tea and talk about books on the second Monday of each month. This month, we will be reading By Gaslight by Steven Price. Copies of the book can be picked up at the Circulation Desk a month before the meeting date. 7:00-8:00 pm
November 13 – Budding Bookworms – Encourage your preschooler’s love of reading with a storytime geared just for them. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. 1:00-2:00 pm
November 13 – Fall Craft: Keepsake Boxes – Come join us in making a keepsake box to store your special memories. If you have a picture or a small item with special meaning, bring it with to decorate the box. Adults only. Limit 30. Registration is required. 2:00-3:30 pm
November 13 – Night Owls – Join us for a storytime with your little owlets. There will be reading, singing, and playing. It will be a HOOT! Ages 0-5 with caregiver. 5:00-6:00 pm
November 14 – Musical Munchkins – Explore the joys of music with your child. Ages 0-5 with caregiver. 5:00-6:00 pm

November 16 – Anime Club – Come join us at Anime Club! Draw and paint your own manga. Snack on delicious Japanese snacks and watch your favorite Anime. Grades 7-12. 6:00-7:30 pm
November 17 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00 am
November 17 – Kids Advisory Board – It’s time to make your voice heard! Share your ideas with us so we can work together to make your library even better. Registration is required. Grades 1-6. 12:00-1:00 pm
November 19 – Fun-Ologies: Alienology – Come explore interesting topics with Fun-Ologies. During this session, we’ll investigate the existence of extraterrestrial beings that stir our curiosity. Join us for our adventure! Grades 3-6. 4:30-5:30 pm
November 20 – Thanksgiving Craft – Drop in to make a beautiful craft for your Thanksgiving table! All ages. 4:00-5:00 pm

November 24 – TAB Meeting – The Teen Advisory Board is a place to share ideas about activities, materials, and changes to implement to make the Library a destination for teens. Members please join us for our monthly meeting! Lunch will be provided. Grades 7-12. 1:00-2:00 pm
November 26 – Tabletop Gaming Club – If you enjoy playing various board games then this is the program for you! Grab some friends and visit your library to play from a selection of classic and new tabletop games. This program is for teens and adults. 6:00-8:00 pm
