Quigley Statement on House Vote to Shutdown Government
WASHINGTON – Tonight U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05) issued the following statement:
“In their refusal to separate a government spending bill from the health care law, my colleagues across the aisle have made it clear they are willing to bend to the tyranny of the minority and shutdown our government at any cost. We have a responsibility to the American people to stop this reckless and irresponsible path and work together to keep the government running.”
