Elmwood Park, IL — Angelo “Skip” Saviano recently announced that he will seek election for Village President of Elmwood Park. Saviano, who is a life-long resident of the Village, is vying for the office in hopes of continuing the tradition of putting people first and politics second.

Saviano, who will be leaving the state legislature on January 9th, has worked on many important projects in his prior service as state representative to the Village of Elmwood Park. He brings a unique sense of service in bonding all factions and political parties, both Democrats and Republicans to work for the betterment of the Village.

The newly constituted “People’s Choice Party” brings a combination of the Unity Party of Elmwood Park and the Elmwood Park Voice Party. The candidates include Angelo “Skip” Saviano for Village President, Gina M. Pesko for Village Clerk and Trustee candidates Jeffrey L. Sargent, Anthony “Tony” Del Santo and Angelo J. Lollino.

“I am very proud to announce my candidacy for Village President of Elmwood Park as over one-hundred residents are circulating our petitions. We will be looking to file by the December 26th deadline,” explained Saviano. “I grew up in Elmwood Park and raised my family here. It is a place that is near and dear to my heart. This is a great community and we will continue to work to make it an even better place to live.”
