September 2 – Friendship Quilting Club – Join us for crafting and camaraderie. Whether you are a newcomer or a long-time quilting enthusiast, you’re invited to learn new techniques, talk about fabrics, and share patterns. 10:00am-12:00pm

September 4 – Morning Movers – Develop your child’s early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, reading, and play. Limit 15. Ages 0-3-years-old with caregiver. 10:00-11:00am

September 4 – Lego Club – Who doesn’t love Legos? You will get to build whatever leaps into your imagination! Lego Club offers a time to relax, create, innovate and collaborate. Limit 30. All Ages. 6:00-7:30pm

September 5 – Arts and Snacks – Drop in for some art! Create a masterpiece at your library. We will have all sorts of art supplies available and a bunch of snacks to keep you going. Ages 13-18-years-old. 1:00-3:00pm

September 10 – Parker’s Storytime – Join us as we explore the alphabet and follow the five basic principles of “Every Child Ready To Read” with books, songs, and rhymes in this fun storytime. Limit 20. Ages 3-5-years-old with caregiver. 4:00-5:00pm

September 10 – Full STEAM Ahead – Join us as we travel full STEAM ahead into science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Ages 6-8. 4:00-5:00pm

September 11 – Friday Flicks – Join us each month to watch a newly released movie. This month’s movie is Aloha (Rated PG-13) starring Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, and Rachel McAdams. Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-3:45pm

September 11 – Friday Family Flicks – Join us each month to watch a family-friendly movie. This month’s movie is Home (Rated PG). Refreshments will also be available. 6:00-7:30pm

September 12 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00am

September 12 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00pm

September 14 – Fiction Book Club – We will be discussing The Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. Pick up your copy of the book at the Circulation Desk starting a month before the discussion date. 7:00-8:00pm

September 28 – Make & Take – Come and check out unique ways to use Perler Beads. Limit 20. Ages 9-12-years-old 6:00-7:00pm
