Summer Reading 2014 – Franklin Park Library

| June 1, 2014

People of all ages are invited to go on a scientific adventure with the Franklin Park Library this summer during our Summer Reading Program!

This summer, children can experience “Fizz Boom Read,” teens will “Spark a Reaction,” and adults will learn about “Literary Elements” at the Library. To participate, people simply sign-up at the Information Desk or Kids Crossing Desk beginning on May 31 and receive a reading packet. Everyone who participates will be eligible to win prizes.

Kids can check in their reading log once a week to be entered into the grand prize raffle. Teens get an entry for every book read and can get extra entries for doing things like attending programs. Adults also get entries for every book read and will be able to gain extra entries by playing Book Bingo. There will be weekly prizes for adults, as well as special grand prizes for teens and adults at the end of the program which include Amazon gift cards, Chicago CityPASS tickets, and more. The Summer Reading Program runs through Saturday, July 19.

We look forward to making many scientific discoveries with everyone!
