TAX PREPARATION

| October 4, 2013

For extra cash you may consider a seasonal job in TAX PREPARATION …

TAX PREPARATION:

Each year H&R BLOCK and JACKSON HEWITT  train and employ thousands of people to prepare tax returns.

Season tax work appeals to stay-at-home parents, students and retirees. The working schedules are flexible and can be during the 9-5 working hours, the weekends and/or the evenings.  This makes it an attraction for people who work full time at other jobs.

H&R BLOCK hires 80,000 people, just like you, to work from January to the end of April.  Most of them need to take the company’s Income Tax Course … which is offered every September and is available in both English and Spanish.  The cost of training varies by location, but many offices offer “early-bird” registration specials and weekend classes.

JACKSON HEWITT has a self-paced and instructor facilitated online training course.  Each Jackson Hewitt office sets its own tuition rate, along with books and supplies … which is often free if you work the tax season with them.

In October 2013 both H&R BLOCK and JACKSON HEWITT will be forming classes in preparation for the coming tax season.

Both companies offer a commission formula to their employees … on top of an hourly pay.  For more information you can visit them at www.hrblock.com and www.jacksonhewitt.com.  Or visit them at your local office.
