  • Top Master’s: The highest salary for a teacher with a master’s degree.

  • Highest teacher salary: Highest allowable pay.
  • % low-income 2010-11: The percentage of students who are classified as low-income by the government.
  • PSAE % meets or exceeds: The percent of high school students who met or exceeded state standards in the 2011 Prairie State Assessment Exam.
  • ISAT % meets or exceeds: The percent of elementary- and middle-school students who met or exceed state standards in the 2011 Illinois State Achievement Test.
  • All data is provided by the Illinois State Board of Education and reflect 2011-12 teacher schedules and include all pension contributions.
