THOUGHT OF THE MONTH

| April 3, 2013

What is a Soroptimist?

Someone who plants seeds in what appears to be barren ground and transforms that ground into a blossoming garden of Love, Faith, and Accomplishment.

Someone who spells impossible, I’m Possible. Where others see problems, a Soroptimist sees possibilities.

Someone who dreams paintings then paints dreams.

Someone who is a runner, a coach and a winner in the most important race of all – the Human Race.

Someone whose vision of victory can raise up the vanquished to new effort.

Someone who is so filled with Hope, they inspire everyone to be heroically helpful.

Someone who doesn’t just “change” circumstances, but, with courage, “creates” circumstances that turn possible failure into a fantastic flight to a fabulous future.

Someone whose greatness is experienced in gentleness. Soroptimists are truly someone.

Someone who is living proof that there is a Divine spark in all of us that can set off rockets of right action that can heal the world.
