ZOE ARSON DOG at Dog Show in Chicago today February 24th
2013 International Kennel Club of Chicago Dog Show And
Bensenville Police Department Arson Dog Demonstrations
Last February 2012, The Bensenville Police Department conducted the first Arson Dog
Demonstration in the history of the International Kennel Club of Chicago. No one had ever
conducted an Arson Dog Demonstration for the IKC at their well renowned Dog Show until BPD
did one last year at McCormick Place. I am pleased to announce that we were invited back to
the IKC dog show this year to conduct two (2) Arson Dog Demo’s and to help run the
“BENSENVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT / STATE FARM ARSON DOG PROGRAM “exhibit
booth #319.
K-9 Zoe and I will be conducting two (45 Min) Arson Dog Demonstrations: One on Saturday,
February 23, 2013 @ 11:30 AM- 12:15 PM and One on Sunday, February 24, 2013 @ 11:30
AM-12:15 PM. Both Arson Dog Demonstrations will be in Demo Ring #1 . Check out the IKC
web site on line for the schedule of events and locations {
www.ikcdogshow.com }.
SPECIAL NOTE: In 2012 The National Fire Dog Monument was on tour as part of a traveling
road show passing through (12) major cities on its way to its final destination in Washington
D.C. . The Monument was on display at several state capitals along the way as a tribute to all
the arson dogs and their handlers who dedicated years of service investigating fires “From
Ashes to Answers”. This year (October 2013) our annual arson dog recertification will be held
in Washington D.C. for the National Fire Dog Monument Dedication Ceremony, and a group
photo with all the past & present K-9 handlers from throughout the United States and Canada.
A MINIATURE TABLE TOP REPLICA OF THE NATIONAL FIRE DOG MONUMENT WILL BE
ON DISPLAY AT OUR BENSENVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT / STATE FARM BOOTH #319
DURING THE 2013 IKC DOG SHOW. Check out the National Fire Dog Monument web site on
line {
